Potential for inclusion of information encountering within information literacy models

چکیده
Information literacy is an important life skill in modern society. For close to three decades, information literacy models have provided pedagogical tools and learning strategies for teaching students about the information research process. These models are used by teachers in many U.S. schools, from kindergarten to high school, to guide the students through their research projects and help them learn how to use library resources.
